Avent Single Electric Breast Pump Blush

It works alright, I find that using my haakaa while breastfeeding I usually collect more… it’s annoying not being able to do anything while pumping as it has to stayed plugged in. If I was to buy one again, I would probably spend the money and buy one that you can move around with and pump on the go.

Accidentally brought this one instead of the portable one but have since found out that I can use it as a portable one by plugging it in to a power bank with the comparable cord I had lying around.

It does what it says. Very happy with the purchase. Wish I had bought the double pump and that it was hands-free. We haven’t used any other pump.

I was a bit skeptical about using an electric breast pump, but the Philips Avent Electric Breast Pump has been a lifesaver for me as a busy breastfeeding mum of a toddler! The pump is so easy to use and comfortable, and I love that it gently adapts to my nipple size and shape. The suction is perfect - not too strong, not too weak. I've been able to express milk quickly and efficiently, which has been a huge relief. The pump is also quiet and discreet, which is great for expressing at home or on-the-go. Overall, I'm so impressed with this pump and would highly recommend it to any breastfeeding mum!

I ordered not one but two of these through my insurance. Neither one of them ever worked not once. So frustrating.

I won this from a raffle (company didn't send it to me like other reviewers) and it's so much smaller than my spectra I really really wanted to make it work since I travel so much. I gave it multiple tries over several months before giving up. If I could give it negative stars I would. Unless you are only using it once in a blue moon AND got it 70% off or something, go and buy a spectra cause this is a waste of money and will trash your supply. If Avent sold formula I'd honestly think it was deliberate. The raffle I won it in was a multiple birth society one too, so I'm glad it came to me rather than some first time mum who will use it and end up thinking their supply is crap rather than this useless pump. The suction is fine, the issue is the single speed setting, it's not long enough to pull milk out efficiently. It's like leaving my spectra on letdown mode. I can hand express more milk in the same amount of time.

Worked well to help expressing my milk to feed my baby, even works for my friend who I passed it onto.

It leaks all the time, I lose my precious milk and end up getting all wet while I'm expressing. Although it’s electric, it’s not portable. I wouldn’t recommend.

Whenever it’s time to put it on, I get really scared and anxious since it is really painful to my breast. I ended up buying some other product out of pocket. I regret buying Philips breast pump.

Exclusively pumping this got a work out!!! I cannot recommend enough. The suction is good, but also gentle… with multiple sensitivity levels, not much less than the one in hospital. The soft silicone flange is great and comfortable as I didn’t get any pain when I started and was a great fit. 6 parts, easy to dismantle and clean. Connects straight into Phillips bottles, however I used the Phillips containers as I found it easier. Very light weight, long cord and easy to also travel with.

Great product does the job as expected.Lives upto its name like all Philips Avent products. Using it since a month and no complains. It has multiple nipple pressure settings for pumping into the bottle and the express setting to get the milk flowing before bubba latches on. Only drawback is that doesn’t work handsfree, you have to hold the pump throughout the process. One thing I noticed is the pressure works better if you remove the silicone pad on the nipple attachment.Also recommend buying a couple bottles separately as this comes with one bottle.

Absolutely brilliant. Does full clean out of breast and no pain like other pumps. The multi fit shield takes the guesswork out of nipple sizes and comfortable to use. Easy to clean and use. Highly recommend. I've had 9 kids and easily would say best pump I've ever used. Would be great if it came with a storage bag

After using other brands for my first born, and recently with my second, this one is a great alternative to the higher priced competitors. The cushions are comfortable, and painless. Extremely easy to clean which was a really important factor for me as you spend a lot of your day cleaning parts when you’re an exclusive pumper! User friendly, versatile and easy to bring with you anywhere. I did find the suction power was not as strong compared to its competitors but I was able to get the same amount of milk production with just a few more minutes, and it was far more comfortable! Would definitely recommend!

I have 3 children and currently breastfeeding the youngest one. I have tried and used other breast pump brands out there- manual, single and double electric pump. I actually dreaded pumping due to the frustration it gives me everytime I can't produce enough output, uncomfortable suction and makes my breast sore after pumping. I am very happy when I used Avent Phillips breast pump, it is very comfortable to the breast. The suction is very gentle even in the highest setting. It also produced the most amount of breast milk in 2 minutes of using it. What's great about it is also the design of the breast attachment that fits everyone, you don't need to purchase a different flange no matter what your breast size is. I would highly recommend this product to every mother out there.
