Our story began the way most conception stories do. We had boobs on the brain.

Our female founder has worked in the healthcare space for years. But it wasn’t until she had her own baby that she realised how limited the Australian breast pump landscape was.

She found herself confined to the couch for 6-7 hours a day, tirelessly expressing into a bulky, uncomfortable contraption – the only kind available in Australia just a few years ago. Desperate for a solution, she stumbled upon a wearable breast pump from the US. The catch? It came with an exorbitant price tag and logistical nightmares.The pump arrived 4 months later, at which point her need for it had expired.

Melony Breast Pumps are intimate products designed for personal use. For hygiene and safety reasons, they cannot be shared or resold.

Returns Eligibility

We understand that you may need to return your purchase for various reasons. Please review the following conditions:

1. Faulty or Defective Items

Faulty items must be returned to the Baby Bunting Support Team for inspection.
All returns must be pre-approved by the Baby Bunting Customer Service Team before shipping.

2. Change of Mind Returns

Items returned due to a change of mind must be in original, unopened, unmarked, and saleable condition.
If the returned goods do not meet these criteria, Melony may reject the return, unless explicitly requested by Melony or proven defective at the time of supply.
All returns must be pre-approved by the Baby Bunting Customer Service Team before shipping.

3. Return Request Timelines

Returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving the product.
Claims for credit due to defects must be made within 30 days of discovering the defect.

Return Shipping Costs

Change of Mind Returns

If your return meets the change of mind conditions, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Warranty / Defect Claims

Customers initially cover the cost of return shipping for warranty claims.
If the item is found to be defective, Melony will reimburse the return shipping cost.
If the item is not defective, Melony will cover the cost to ship the item back to you.

Warranty Validation & Replacement Shipping

Melony will attempt to validate warranty claims via video or photo to expedite the process whenever possible.
In some cases, Melony may ship replacement accessories or motors directly to customers with suspected defects, covering all shipping costs.

Warranty Information

This product has been manufactured with the highest standards of quality and care for normal pumping use. Following the user directions carefully will ensure proper operation. If, for any reason (other than misuse or normal battery depletion), you believe your Melony pump or accessories are not functioning as intended, Melony will assess the item and, at our discretion, repair or replace it at no charge during the 2-year warranty period. Modification to the product by the consumer is not authorized and will void the warranty. Packaging is not covered under the warranty.

If you experience any issues with the performance of your pump, please contact the Baby Bunting Customer Service Team for assistance. The purchaser assumes responsibility for the proper care and use of the product in accordance with the printed operating manual. The purchaser or user must use their judgment regarding when and how long to use the product. Keep the operating manual accessible, as it serves as your guide to safe and effective operation.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law (2011). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are found to be defective and the failure does not constitute a major failure.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact the Baby Bunting Customer Service Team.
If your return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label along with detailed instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can address the issue.

Refund Process

Bank or credit card processing times may vary. If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of approval, please contact the Baby Bunting Customer Service Team.
