byNever had an issue with this seat. Started using it November 2023 with a newborn, still going. Easy to clean, no head flop issue. The photo in the review with head flop appears to be incorrectly fitted to baby - too loose and harness too low to shoulders. Those things will cause head flop.

byAs stated above, I review this car seat five stars as I have a car that isn’t compatible with a lot of car seat. It’s causing them to tilt more forward and causing a head flop than any other cars due to having bucket seats. This seat I have found fits perfectly and has never caused a head flop problem. I’ve never had an issue with overheating also a car with only front seat air conditioning. This car is comfortable and She’s never complained about being in an unlike a previous car seats we had, I really don’t understand the bad review. Maybe it wasn’t installed properly but if installed correct like the picture shown above the seat has no capabilities of causing head flop. It’s a fantastic seat and I plan on purchasing a second

Questionable to other negative reviews
byI bought this car seats and so far it has been doing well to protect my kid. I thought it may be a bit unfair to the manufacturer as other’s reviews to me look like they don’t use it in the right way. For up to 12 months old, the seat is supposed to be used in rearward facing with reclining. So baby is even more like lying than sitting. There is no way neck tilt issue can happen like the photo posted. If someone who is considering to buy this seat, please have a look the manual which can be downloaded on their official website. When you see the image of rearward facing position with reclining, you can see the what I’m trying to say. With my appreciation to the seat has been protecting my child for the last four years, I just wanted to leave this comment.

Head flop issue do not purchase
byDo not purchase this car seat for a new born. Horrible in rear facing, child experience head flop. Maxi Cosi is aware of this issue and continues to have this car seat on the market. It is extremely dangerous. They have recently pulled it from the shelf to change the fabric as it was unbreathable and baby over heats but did not rectify the head flop issue. The recline on this car seat is too low in rear facing, fine for forward facing but would not recommend if wanting to purchase for new born.
