We are big Moana fans and we’re really disappointed that the audio is not the original songs. It’s all covers that are not as catchy and my little one noticed right away.

Good Tonie, just short
byI wish the Tonie was alittle bit longer than it is & that it had the same person singing the Tonie as the movie & same sound effects. Our daughter loves it & cannot tell the difference I just wish it was longer for her so we didn’t have to relisten to it so often.

Terrible knock off of original songs
byThe songs are not preformed by the original singers from the movie. They are all a (terrible) knock off which is pretty hard to listen to. Very disappointed and surprised that this would be acceptable by Disney and the Tonie brand.

byAnother Disney tonie with inferior versions of the songs you know and love! It’s a shame because the Moana soundtrack is awesome and the narrative portions of the tonie are great. The substitute vocalists on this one are especially glaring: Auliʻi Cravalho’s voice is so good that the drop off is impossible, while all of the male vocal performances sound like the same guy. I have to assume that it’s a matter of tonies not wanting to pay Disney the full rate for the original recordings since the packaging doesn’t make it clear that you’re effectively accepting a substandard experience when you buy it. It’s impossible for me to believe that tonies isn’t knowingly aware that they’re doing this. What a shame.

byI tried putting it on my Tony box and it would not work no matter what I did with my Tony box and I just hate the sound of the music in the story the story isn't even even true about the movie And my child can choke on the Tony and I just hate the Moana I would rather get a different one but I want to get theCreative Tony's where I can create my own stories and do other stuff with the creative mummies and so do not buy the Disney Moana Tony it is horrible

Nice for story but bland music
byIve owned this for a couple months now and while my son enjoys the story, he is not impressed with the songs. All the songs sound bland and not as musical as in the movies. Given my son loves Moana the movie, we will likely keep this tonie but he often asks Alexa to play the songs instead of listening on the tonie.
