Traditional Peter rabbit stories, I think they perfect for bedtime however I do find the readers voice a bit dull! I think my little one finds this one a bit boring but might be one he likes as he gets older.

Lovely Read Aloud
byLoving it! The audio mostly matches with the physical book I have for the kiddos to "read" along with the audio. Just a couple of words are different. Happy that it has more than just one story on it. I'll have to get the other physical books as well.

Unhappily Surprised
byWe love the first story! Classic Peter Rabbit. The others.......who picked them? The second is about a mole kidnapping all the babies to eat. One benjamin bunny gets whipped by his father. The last story is Mr McGreggor taking all the babies to kill, skin, and eat. Maybe I was naive, but didn't expect those to be the stories

Feel it is too inappropriate for younger children
byIf I had understood what the story’s were on this, I would not have allowed this in our collection. I think the stories are very inappropriate for younger children. Talking about boiling baby rabbits, hopes a character drowns to death, poring scalding water on someone, etc. To me personally, it just felt like too much hate and anger for young developing minds to be listening to.

Classic version with questionable words.
byThe audio is a classic version which has some subject about making pies and smoking tobacco which isn't suitable for the age range this is sold to. If only you had used a different classic version which didn't refer to tobacco.
